Xing Kong

• Xingkong, from Jiangsu. At the age of 14, he became a monk at Guanyin Temple in Jiangyan and was admitted to Jiaoshan Buddhist College in Zhenjiang. He was taught by eminent monks such as Renshan, Shoupei, Zhifeng and Xuefang. In the autumn of 1984, he succeeded as abbot of Hanshan Temple.
