Lu Yougang

Lu Yougang, named Li'an. A native of Shuikou Town, Xinyi, he graduated from Peking University with a liberal arts degree. In 1923, he served as secretary of the Generalissimo's Office of the military government. After Sun Yat-sen's death, he successively served as county magistrate of Heshan County in Guangdong, mayor of Jiangmen, director of the Guangzhou Education Bureau, and secretary-general of the Guangzhou Municipal Government. Later he went to Taiwan and settled in the United States in his later years. He is the author of "A Brief History of the Founding Fathers", "Examination of the University System", "Collection of Calligraphy and Painting by Yougang", etc.
