Guang Yuan

Master Guangyuan, whose common name is Song Yuanru, and whose signature is Zhuyunzhai, was born in Shenqiu, Henan (formerly Jieshou, Anhui). He inherited calligraphy from his father, Ruiyu Gongwu, at an early age. In 1948, he went to Taiwan to become a monk. During his free time from meditation, he studied calligraphy and calligraphy. He studied bamboo painting under the tutelage of Ma Shouhua, the head of the township. The master is a master of calligraphy and painting in various styles, and is an expert in painting bamboo and stone. He has successively served as a professor at the Buddhist Research Institute, vice president of the World Chinese Monk Association, judge of the International Art Exhibition, and chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Society.
