Chen Yongnian

  • Chen Yongnian, also known as Congxun, was a disciple of Jiangsu Province. His birth and death are unknown. During the Wanli period (1573-1620), he traveled to Taixue. He was good at poetry and prose, and had a good appreciation of poetry. He had a rich collection of calligraphy and paintings of the Song and Yuan Dynasties. He was especially good at cursive calligraphy. His calligraphy was "Shi". "Qitie" and Sun Guoting, the writing is smooth, elegant and lovely.
