Tong Yu

• Tong Ershu, named Yu, also named Puyan, Erru, Ershu, also known as Zhayan and Jiianzi, was from Shanyin, Zhejiang. He was proficient in poetry and painting, and was good at writing landscapes. He could write orchids, bamboos, trees and rocks in cursive script, and he was especially good at writing plum blossoms. He wrote no less than ten thousand books in his life, and each painting must have a poem.
