Xu Yong

• Xu Yong is a famous Chinese painter, comic strip artist and art educator. Born in Qingdao, Shandong Province, he graduated from Northeastern North American College in 1956 and stayed at the school to teach. He is currently a professor and graduate tutor at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, and an executive director of the Chinese Comic Book Research Association.
