• MISHIMA YUKIO, Japanese novelist, playwright, essayist, critic, and political activist. One of the most important writers of postwar Japanese literature. Nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature, he left more than 100 books during his 45-year life, many of which have been translated and published abroad.
