SATO CHURYO

• SATO CHURYO, Japanese sculptor. After graduating from the Tokyo School of Fine Arts, he became active in the Shinseisaku Art Society. He creates lively female figures and other works in bronze and wood carving. In 1981, he became the first Japanese sculptor to hold a solo exhibition at the Musée Rodin in France.
