• HARIMA MASAO, Japanese lacquering artist born in Ishikawa, wo the Japan Fine Art Exhibition Membership Award in 1981. In the same year, he became the chairman of the Wajima Lacquerware Technology Preservation Society , which holds important intangible cultural properties.
