• BANKSY, UK-based artist, political activist, and filmmaker of unknown identity.Banksy has been called an "art terrorist" because he appears in various parts of the world, paints up a picture, and then leaves without anyone noticing or knowing. His works, mainly graffiti using stencils called stencil art, carry strong messages such as "anti-capitalism" and "anti-authority. Since most of the works are painted on walls, they are quickly painted over, and not many of them are still in existence.
