Wei Benxiong

• Wei Benxiong was born in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. When he was young, he learned landscape painting from the famous Wuzhong Wu Yangmu. Afterwards, he studied tiger painting under Cao Yanru, a disciple of Zhang Shanzhai. Since then, he has produced many works with animal subjects, and is especially good at painting monkeys.
