Qu Zhaolin

Qu Zhaolin, with the courtesy name as Ren Fu, was born in Beijing. Cixi (Empress Dowager Cixi) painter. He is an excellent painter in everything from landscape paintings, portrait paintings, flower and bird paintings. He was particularly good at painting bats, pine trees, and cranes. In 1884, at the age of 19, he entered the Qing court. He later became the chief priest (chief) of the Nyoikan. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, he painted pine trees, cranes, and turfgrass for Cixi.
