Tanomura Chikuden

• Tanomura Takeda, a literati calligrapher in the Edo period of Japan. His real name is Takanori, the Chinese character is Kimibu, and the pseudonym is Takeda. His father was Shun Tanomura, a doctor of the Oka Domain. He studied painting under Shinsai Fuchino, a painter of the Oka clan, and Yomogi Watanabe. He receives correspondence professorship from Tani Buncho. His disciples include Kusatsubo Takahashi, Anzu Hoashi, and Naoiri Tanomura.
