Zhu Ansheng

• Zhu Ansheng, born in Beijing in 1946, studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1986. He was an apprentice of the renowned painter Chen Dazhang. With many years of experience in art creation and research, he specializes in landscape and figure painting. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, a first-level national painter, the deputy editor-in-chief of *Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting News*, and the vice president of the China Qinglu Landscape Painting Academy.

In 1960, he entered the Suzhou National Art Museum to study Chinese painting. In 1978, he became a painter at the Suzhou National Painting Academy. He is a first class artist.
