  • Qian Xingjian

    Qian Xingjian, born in Wuxi, Jiangsu, studied landscape painting, floral painting, literature, and poetry under the master Yuan Rongfang. He is skilled in Chinese painting. He serves as the Director of the Art Teaching and Research Department and Associate Professor at Shanghai International Studies University. In 1954, he studied flower-and-bird painting under the renowned artist Jiang Hanting. In 1963, he dedicated himself to the study of Chinese painting theory. For decades, he has worked on the research of both domestic and foreign paintings, ranging from ancient to modern times.
