Liu Jiying

• Liu Jiying, from Wuqing, Tianjin, is a traditional Chinese painter. He studied Chinese painting, literature, history, and calligraphy under the guidance of Master Pu Xinshe. He was also mentored by professors Ye Qianyu and Wen Jinyang, and studied freehand flower-and-bird painting under Master Wang Xuetao. Liu has been engaged in artistic work throughout his career. In April 1991, he was appointed as a member of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History.
