Shen Tang, An Guang Yin people. Countesy name is Lianfang, Xuelu, live in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province. From an early age, he liked painting and later studied under Lu Huiyou. He is close friends with Wu Dazheng and Zhang Zhidong, and works with them to revise "Chenghua Shilue." After moving to Suzhou, he was flooded with requests for his paintings. In the 3rd year of Xuan Tong (1912), he imitated Ni Zan's landscape paintings and was included in the collection of paintings of masters of the sea. He also specializes in seal engraving.
