Masahiko Tsubota

  • Masahiko Tsubota, born in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, is a painter and printmaker. He graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 1970 and is currently a professor at Osaka University of Arts. In addition to painting and printmaking, he is also active in the field of three-dimensional modeling in recent years. Many of his works use squares, which are combined with colors to create abstract paintings that give a sense of tranquility. His artistic activities are not limited to Japan, and his works have been exhibited in solo exhibitions and art exhibitions around the world, and have been collected by museums in Japan and overseas.
