Zhou Huang

  • Zhou Huang, with the courtesy name Jinghuan, art name are Xuchu, Haishan and Haishan. Born in Chongqing Fuling, Chongqing. A prominent official of the Qing dynasty. He was Jinshi in the second year of Qianlong (1737). He was appointed as the deputy envoy of Ryukyu and was entrusted with reviewing the "Si Ku Quan Shu". He successively held posts such as the ministry of Engineering, the ministry of Army, Jia Taizi Shaochuan, and Taishi Taifu. His posthumous name is Wengong. He specializes in poetry and calligraphy.
