Wen Tingshi

Wen Tingshi, courtest name is Daoxi, Yunge, artname is Chunchangzi, Luoxiao Shanren. A native of Pingxiang, Jiangxi, and born in Chaozhou, Guangdong. He studied under Chen Li. He is a prominent modern Chinese patriotic poet, lyricist and scholar. He fought as an anti-Japanese in the Jiawu War. He actively carried out the Yushin Reform Movement and became a central figure in the political struggles of the late Qing dynasty. He was the 16th year (1890) of Kiyomitsu. In 1898 he traveled to Japan on a modified version of the Dog.
