Zhang Qin
Zhang Qin (1861-1949), other name was Zheng Yao, courtesy name was Li Guang, art name was Yi Shan, born in Haiyou, Sanmen Xian, Zhejiang Province. A prominent scholar, educator, calligrapher, and grandfather of Zhang Wenjin who is a Chinese diplomat. During the Qing Dynasty he passed an examination that was prescribed by the government, after that he became supervisor of the Jingshi University, the editor of the National History Museum, the chief editor of the Meritorious Museum, the supervisor of the Ministry of posts, and the principal of Beijing Woman’s Normal School.

Qian Zhenhuang
Qing Zhenhuang (1875-1944), courtesy name was Meng Jing, art name was Ming Shan, Yong Ren, Zhe Xing and Cang Zhi, born in Lingxi Yanghu Jingsu (Wujin Jiangsu, Yanghu’er). He passed palace examination “Jinshi” in 1903, he returned to home in 1909 and taught pupils.
