    Wang Fu, with the courtesy name as Mengduan, the art name as Youshisheng and Jiulongshanren is a native of Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, a famous painter of the Ming dynasty. Born in May 1362, he liked to study from an early age. He specializes in calligraphy and painting, and is good at landscape painting. He studied under Wu Zhen and Wang Meng. In the first year of Hongwu (1368), he entered Hanrin and was selected as a middle schooler.
