Lu Men

  • Lu Men, the courtesy name is Zhenyi, the art name is Lumon, a former feudal retainer of the Sendai domain. He is well versed in Chinese and Western studies. After the Meiji Restoration, he served as an editor at the Shushikan and at the Tokyo Prefectural Library. Afterwards, he becomes dissatisfied with the clan's dictatorship and resigns from his post. He opened a private school called "Suiyudo" and has many disciples. He is well-versed in the world affairs of the time, and has written more than 300 books, including "Sonjo Kiji," "Yoneri Kenshi," and "Buranxi Shi."
