Itou Jyakucyuu

• Itou Jyakucyuu, his other name is Jujun, and his courtesy name is Kagekazu. A modern Japanese painter, a painter who was active in Kyoto in the middle of the Edo period. His works fuse realism and imagination, and he came to be known as the 'fantastic painter'. He was one of the artists who worked together with Shohaku Soga and Rosetsu Nagasawa.
