    Liu Lingcang was born in Guan, Hebei. He specializes in Chinese painting. He graduated from Beiping College of Arts. He is a professor and research instructor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, honorary chairman of the Modern Brush Painting Association, chairman of the Beijing Brush Painting Association, and instructor of the Chinese Painting Study Group. He is a famous Chinese painting artist and art educator in China.
