Cheng Zongyuan

• Cheng Zongyuan, with the courtesy names as Xiang and Miaodizhai Zhuren, was born in Suzhou, and is domiciled to Taiping, Anhui Province. He is the successor to Hokendou. After he entered the Suzhou Municipal Drama Research Institute, he engaged in the study of period drama costumes. After that, he studied under Shen Zicheng, a famous modern painter. He is good at Chinese figure painting, servant painting, and Buddhist painting.
