Kuang Yuan

• Kuang Yuan, with the courtesy name as Benru, and the art name as Hequan, was born in Jiaozhou, Shandong Province. He was one of the eight ministers appointed by Emperor Xianfeng of the Qing dynasty during his lifetime, and is also a famous calligrapher and educator. His calligraphy is highly praised for its strength and softness.
