Shi Zhigang

• Shi Zhigang, whose original name was Shi Shipeng, and whose courtesy name was Zhongfu, born in Yatang Village, Tangxian Town, Yongkang, Zhejiang. A famous Taiwanese artist. He graduated from Wuyi Jishan Junior High School. He enlisted in the army in 1948 and transferred in 1949. In 1971, he studied art at the Chinese Culture University, and in 1972, he studied ink painting with Zhang Daqian. His works are in the collections of the White House in the United States, the British Royal Family, and countries in Southeast Asia.
