Zhou Xian

• Zhou Xian, with the courtesy names as Cunbo and Xiaoyuan, the art name as Fanhu Jushi was born in Xiushui, Zhejiang. When he was young, he lived in Shanghai. In the late Daoguang era, he moved to Wu County. In the early Tongzhi era, he took office in Xinyang, but resigned due to disagreements with the official. After that, he made a living by selling paintings in Suzhou and Shanghai.
