Xu Beiting

• Xu Beiting, whose names are Miaozun, Xuxi and Miaoweng was born in Jiangsu Wujiang. He is good at drawing Chinese paintings. He studied under the Qing Dynasty painter Wu Guandai. In 1931, he earned a living by opening painting classes at the White Horse Painting Company in Jiangsu, Shanghai. In 1939, he served as a Chinese painting teacher at the Art Study Group of the Academy of Literature, Peking University. After that, he served as a professor at the Beijing Municipal Arts and Crafts School.
