Ding Baoshu

  • Ding Baoshu was born in Wuxi Jiangsu. From an early age, he was good at Chinese paintings. He studied painting feather and flowers in high school. He was the editor of the Shanghai Civilization Book Office and edited the Book of Chinese Paintings of Ancient and Modern Time. He also left collection books of art works and poetries.

      Lu Hui (陸恢), originally named Youhui (友恢), also known as Youkui (友奎), with courtesy names Lianfu (廉夫) and Juanyi (狷盫), and pseudonyms such as Juansou (狷叟) and Pofu'an Zhuren (破佛盫主人), was a Chinese painter from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republican period. He was skilled in various genres of traditional Chinese painting, including landscapes, flowers and birds, and figure painting.

      Zhang Qin (1861-1949), other name was Zheng Yao, courtesy name was Li Guang, art name was Yi Shan, born in Haiyou, Sanmen Xian, Zhejiang Province. A prominent scholar, educator, calligrapher, and grandfather of Zhang Wenjin who is a Chinese diplomat. During the Qing Dynasty he passed an examination that was prescribed by the government, after that he became supervisor of the Jingshi University, the editor of the National History Museum, the chief editor of the Meritorious Museum, the supervisor of the Ministry of posts, and the principal of Beijing Woman’s Normal School.
