Shang Zhen

• Shang Zhen with the courtesy name as Qiyu was born in Dacheng County, Shuntianfu, Zhili Province (now Dacheng County, Hebei Province), 2nd class general of the National Revolutionary Army Army. He has served as Suyuan Dutong, Chairman of Hebei Province, Chairman of Shanxi Province, Mayor of Tianjin, and Chairman of Henan Province. During the War of Resistance against Japan, he was Commander-in-Chief of the 20th Group Army, Commander-in-Chief of the Sixth Theater Command, Secretary General of the Military Commission, Head of the Postwar Chinese Military Delegation to the United States, Chief of Staff of the National Government Army, and Head of the Chinese Delegation to Japan. He moved to Japan and died of illness in Tokyo on May 15, 1978.
