• Wang Caibai, his other name is Konqi, his courtesy names are Caibai, Caibo, his art names are Dan'an, and Xitong Jushi. Born in Xixi, She County. At the age of five, he studied under Huang Binhong, learning the Four Books and Five Classics and painting. At the age of 21, he entered the Chinese Painting Department of the Double River Normal School and studied under Li Ruiqing, a close friend of his uncle Wang Lvben.
