Ryogan Myoei

• Ryogan Myoei, a priest of the Muso School of Rinzai Buddhism in Japan. Born in Tsukuzen Dazaifu, Fukuoka Prefecture, a person from the period of the Northern and Southern Courts of Japan (the beginning of the late Yuan period). His name is Reiwa, Rei. At the age of 19, he studied under Kokushi Muso Soseki.
