Yoshitoshi Tsukioka, Ukiyo-e painter in the late Edo period and Meiji period. He is Utagawa Kuniyoshi's first disciple. He created a style called "Muzan-e" in the ukiyo-e world. Much of his work draws from folklore and deals with death and blood. They have a great influence on later generations such as Yukio Mishima, Ranbu Edogawa, and Tadanori Yokoo.
