  • Qian Hui'an

    Qian Hui'an, courtesy name Jisheng, and known by various pseudonyms including Qingxi Qiaozi, Qinglu Yuren, Tuiyi Laoren, and Shuangguan Louzhu, initially followed the styles of Qiu Ying, Tang Yin, and Chen Hongshou. Later, he studied under Fei Danxu, Gai Qi, and Shangguan Zhou. He was particularly skilled in figure painting, portraits of beautiful women, and floral art.

    Gu Yun (顧澐), courtesy name Ruobo (若波), and also known by various pseudonyms such as Yunhu (雲壺), Huyin (壺隱), Huong (壺翁), Yunhu Waishi (雲壺外史), Junchuan (濬川), Shōmo (頌墨), and Binghe (病鶴), with studio names Zizaishi (自在室) and Xiaoyuxian Guan (小遊仙館), was from Wuxian (present-day Suzhou, Jiangsu). He was a commoner (布衣). Gu Yun was a skilled painter of landscapes, renowned for his clear, elegant, and ancient style. His work combined the strengths of the "Four Wangs" (Wang Shimin, Wang Jian, Wang Hui, and Wang Yuanqi), as well as the Wu school and the Yun school of painting.

He was skilled in various genres of traditional Chinese painting, including landscapes, flowers and birds, and figure painting.
