Li Zai

• Li Zai with the courtesy name as Yizhneg was born in Jiangkou Zhengban Village, Putian City, Fujian, and was a court painter in the Ming Dynasty. He is an expert in landscape painting and has the style of the Northern and Southern Sung dynasties. He was strongly influenced by Dai Jin of the same period. During the Xuande era, he entered a painting school in Beijing.
