Liang Yaoshu

Liang Yaoshu, the courtesy name is Guanqi, the art name is Dounan and Shujian is domiciled to Putian, Fujian. He moved to Shunde, Guangdong. He was an official and a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. Born in the 12th year of Daoguang (1832), he studied under the famous Confucian scholar Zhu Jiujiang at an early age. He reads Confucian scriptures at the Guangya Academy in Guangzhou. He was promoted in 1862, and nine years later he became a Jinshi and was selected as a Zhuangyuan. He will be the last commander of Guangdong. In the same year, he was selected to edit Hanlin Yuan. In the 12th year of Tongji (1873), he served as a co-examiner of the Shuntian Trial and was promoted to Hanllin Yuan Vice Zhanshi.
