Huang Xishuang

• Huang Xishuang, with the courtesy name as Wenzhi, the other name as Huang Dunliang and Huang Xingqiu was born in Wuxing, Zhejiang. Growing up in a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, he watched his father work from an early age, and as a studious person he acquired an excellent knowledge of Chinese medicine. Besides being a doctor, he is also well versed in calligraphy and painting, and specializes in ink landscape painting. He studied the paintings of Song and Yuan painters and mastered painting techniques. He is a well-known painter and has close friendships with Wu Hufan, Shen Yinmo, Xie Zhiliu, Lu Yanshao, and Wu Qingxia, and he is naturally influenced by them. As a result, many of his works are exquisitely crafted and tastefully painted, and are highly regarded by renowned artists.
