He Xianbin

• He Xianbin, with the courtesy name as Yaoxian, Yueqiao, the art name as Jinghu, Shouzhuo Xianren, and Biyu Jushi was born in Jiangxiatan, Hunan Qingquan County, Qing Dynasty (present-day West Lake Park area, Shigu Ward, Hengyang City). He studied under Peng Yulin and is good at painting plum blossoms. In his later years, he continued to paint plum blossoms even though his right hand became ill. He is also good at sketching and engraving on orchids, bamboos and stones.
