Chen Yuan

• Chen Yuan, with the courtesy name as Yuan'an, was born in Xinhui, Guangdong Province, and is a scholar of the history of Chinese religion. He is the president of Furen University, Beijing Normal University, and the president of Yanjing University "Harvard-Yenjing Institute". He became famous for his work "Momentary Rika Onko". He made great achievements in religious history, academics, and archeology. The historian Yan Kowang called Chen Yuan, Qianmu, Lv Simian, and Chen Yinke the "Four great contemporary historians''.
