Shen Tang

• Shentang, with the courtesy names as Lianfang, Xuelu, lives in Wujiang, Jiangsu. From an early age, he liked painting and later studied under Lu Hui. He became friends with Wu Dacheng and Zhang Zhidong, and was involved in the revision of "Chenghua Shilue." After that he moved to Suzhou. In the 3rd year of Xuan Tong (1912), he copied Ni Zan's landscape paintings and listed them in the collection of paintings by masters of the maritime school. He is good at engraving.
