Zhang Qin (1861-1949), other name was Zheng Yao, courtesy name was Li Guang, art name was Yi Shan, born in Haiyou, Sanmen Xian, Zhejiang Province. A prominent scholar, educator, calligrapher, and grandfather of Zhang Wenjin who is a Chinese diplomat. During the Qing Dynasty he passed an examination that was prescribed by the government, after that he became supervisor of the Jingshi University, the editor of the National History Museum, the chief editor of the Meritorious Museum, the supervisor of the Ministry of posts, and the principal of Beijing Woman’s Normal School.

Zhang Daqian
Zhang Daqian, courtesy name Ji Yuan, and Buddhist name Daqian, was a renowned Chinese modern artist born in Neijiang, Sichuan, with ancestral roots in Panyu, Guangdong. His reputation in poetry, calligraphy, and painting, alongside Qi Baishi and Pu Xinyu, earned him the titles “Southern Zhang, Northern Qi” and “Southern Zhang, Northern Pu.” Together with Huang Junbi and Pu Xinyu, he was also known as one of the "Three Masters Crossing the Sea."

Ding Baoshu
Ding Baoshu was born in Wuxi Jiangsu. From an early age, he was good at Chinese paintings. He studied painting feather and flowers in high school. He was the editor of the Shanghai Civilization Book Office and edited the Book of Chinese Paintings of Ancient and Modern Time. He also left collection books of art works and poetries.
