Hu Zhengwei

• Hu Zhengwei was born in Yinchuan, Ningxia. He is a member of the China Artists Association, an expert on the expert committee of the China Ink Painting Academy, honorary chairman of the Ningxia Artists Association, a national first-class artist, and has received a special scholarship from the State Council. He is the vice president of the Beijing Modern Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, the vice president of the China National Academy of Folk Painting, and the director of the Ningxia Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute. He studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Hangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in Chinese painting. His works have been exhibited in the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th art exhibitions nationwide, and he has won five awards, including the Huang BinHong Academic Achievement Award.
