Chen Mingxia

• Chen Mingxia with the courtesy name as Baishi, Boshi, and the art name as Shiyun Yuji, was the first politician in the late Ming and Qing Dynasties. Born in Liyang County. In 1643, Ming Chongzhen Kuiwei (1643), he was ranked third in the imperial examinations and became a shinshi. He belongs to the Donglin faction. He works as an editor at Han Lin Yuan and serves as a government official. He surrendered to Li Zicheng, and he was taught by Hong Wen Guan. After that, he becomes a secretary graduate.
