Cheng Shifa

• Cheng Shifa (1921-2007) was born in Songjiang Shanghai. He was a principal of the Shanghai China Art Academy, member of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, president of Xiling Seal Art Society, member of the China National Academy of Painting, and member of China Artists Association.

    Wang Dawen was born in Shanghai, a modern famous portrait painter. Wang Dawen was a famous landscape painter when the person was young and studied under a master of seal carving Qian Shoutie and a Flower-and-Bird painter Tang Yun. Learned and graduated Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy from 1960-1964, after graduation learned landscape painting from a famous painter Fan Shaoyun. Then, learned Flower-and-Bird painting and portrait from Cheng Shifa.
