Liu Haisu

• Liu Haisu, originally named Liu Pan, with the courtesy name Jifang and the pseudonym Haiweng, was from Wujin, Jiangsu. He was a renowned Chinese painter, calligrapher, poet, and educator. Liu specialized in traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, calligraphy, and poetry. Along with Yan Wenliang, Lin Fengmian, and Xu Beihong, he was known as one of the "Four Great Presidents" in the field of Chinese art education.
