• NAKAMURA FUSETSU,a Japanese calligrapher, painter, and educator. He studied Chinese calligraphy and significantly influenced the Japanese calligraphy world. Particularly proficient in the art of writing Chinese characters, his technique and aesthetic were passed on to many disciples. Additionally, he was known as a Western-style painter and left behind numerous works that incorporated Western painting techniques. His works are highly regarded in both calligraphy and painting.
