Wang Shichang

• Wang Shichang with the art name as Sanbaishu, was born in Baoding, Hebei Province. In 1958 he graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Tianjin Academy of Arts. He is a director of the China Calligraphy and Painters Association, a member of the China Artists Association, a national first-class artist, and the director of the Xinjiang Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute. His works mainly depict Xinjiang fruits, so people call him "Melon Wang".
