Kawamura Wakashiba, a monk, commonly known as Kawamura, Rankei Wakashiba, Kizaemon Aru Doukou, Fukyoushi, Enka Bhikkhu, Enka Dojin, Enka Field Priest, Enka Field Priest, Shiyo Sanjin, Fusei. His art names are Enxia Bhikkhu (Suizen Enshō), Fuukijin and Dissipative Traveler, and the monk name is Rankei Dokou. He was a painter and craftsman active at Nagasaki in the early Edo period. He grew up in a powerful family in Saga and is said to have retired to Nagasaki. He was temporarily hired as a painter by the Nabeshima domain. He learned the technique of corrosive inlaying from Mokuan and excels in tsuba work.
